Rohit Singh

After completing a Master’s degree in wildlife sciences from Aligarh Muslim University (India), I worked as a consultant for various conservation organizations. Since 2006, I direct Pehal Society, a conservation NGO working towards sustainability in India’s wildlife. My area of interest is in wildlife crime control and I am currently the member of the Wildlife Crime Control Cell of the Special Task Force of the Uttrakhand Police Department. I also conduct work against wildlife trade in Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Chattisgarh states in North India. At CRGCS, I am involved in research on large mammal ecology and conservation, human-wildlife conflicts and wildlife trade.
